This is a very close fight. Canelo is obviously the slight fav to win due to him being young, stronger hitter and slight faster than Cotto.

To me I have to ways each being the winner. It'll all depend to who can pull the game plan

Let me inform you of how much Cotto is running from GGG. Back in October GGG made the fight with Rubio to be the mandatory for the opportunity that Cotto got from the WBC to fight Martinez. When Cotto made that deal with the WBC he understood that *after one optional fight, he then had to fight the winner of Rubio/Golovkin sometime this year. Cotto made that deal with the WBC in order to get the opportunity against Martinez. Or else Martinez would have probably fought somebody else or fought Golovkin. *Now that Cotto has to live up to that arrangement he is not being honorable. He is backing out because he is being a diva. He fights Geale and doesn't fight the winner of Golovkin/Rubio. So what does that say about Cotto's word. You can argue that Cotto went after the big money. And that is true. But in the process he went back on his word and avoided GGG. Not much of a man in my books, where a man's word is his honor.

Cotto has said one thing and one thing always, he will do what is best for his family and that means one thing, money. Canelo is more money than GGG, I see nothing wrong with this.

cotto canelo on paper is beyond a close fight but how many times have those type of fights ended up going on way or the other. well see im more of a cotto fan then canelo but i want to see canelo ggg more then cotto ggg. lol so many intricacies in this fight. canelo ggg and ward ggg are 2 of the best fights boxing can offer right now along with stevenson kovalev and im sure im forgetting a pair but man canelo ggg would be amazing i think canelo has a way way way better chance then people think he does. the problem is canelo will force ggg to take a catch weight of like 157 pounds and team ggg can say all they want that they wont accept it but if the canelo fight is right there and all they got to do is accept 157 then there is no doubt in my mind they accept the fight. they can say all they care about is the title but if the choice is get the title by canelo vacating or fighting canelo at 157 for the title u know dam well ggg falls for it same with cotto ggg

Why would I care about anyone's opinion on Cotto's family other than Cotto's? Who cares what you think... just like with Cotto picking someone over GGG. He's going to do what anyone would do at their job, pick whoever pays more. When you take a paycut to do harder work, then you can criticize Cotto, but you are like every other person in the world. Selfish and looking out for their best interest.
