Ward and Kovalev already been in talks, and Ward has said that fight will happen. Ward wants to fight all the way up to heavyweight. Kovalev and ward is a fight that will happen, while gg avoids competition. And thats my reason for not liking him, that and listening to his fans spout a bunch of BS.

It really is a shame, I would much rather see Cotto get in the ring with Golovkin, but I don't see that EVER happening. I wish he would grow a pair and go for it.

So because he walks around 168, he should be fighting there? There's numerous instances of Abel saying Golovkin enters camp around mid to higher 160's. You act like he's cutting a lot of weight or something.

Sorry he doesn't walk around at 168... He typically weighs low to mid 170s at the 30 day weigh ins... Good try though

This is one of the more interesting fights for Golovkin and a potentially great fight while it lasts. Lemieux has flaws, but he is a damn good puncher and with the way Golovkin has been fighting lately, that makes things interesting. I like the idea of Chocolatito on the undercard as well. I'm not crazy about it being on PPV though, and I'm a little skeptical of Golovkin actually selling well against Lemieux at this point.

Could happen. Or things could go the other way. I totally doubt that GGG avoids all of Lemieux's punches. No way David doesn't connect with at least a few solid blows. We already know GGG can punch... but can he take a murderous punch? Some big questions will be answered about both fighters. Lemieux definitely has a set of stones though. Have to respect that.

For casual fans Lemieux is exciting, Ward is not.
Lemieux is fan friendly, Ward is not.
Lemieux has big fan base, nobody watches Ward beside family in Oakland.
Lemieux brings money to the table, Ward can not earn money to cover his own expenses. Jay Z is a fool.
