If GGG can move and outbox Lemieux and then knock him out then I will be more impressed than anything. If he can do stuff like that then he is a real complete fighter.

Lemieux is a big puncher but his defense is a lot worse than GGG's, i hope he catches GGG leaning in with his head with one of those Lemieux heavy hooks while GGG is setting up a hook to the body and wobbles him but i doubt it
It's irrelevant to bring things that happened thousand years ago. I can name so many boxers who were stopped early in their career and then became champions.
Also, when someone brings Rubio fight, it's good to mention that David was beating Rubio up pretty bad and was way ahead on all scorecards.
But again I agree that Oscar should have convinced him to defend his title a few times before step in the ring with Golovkin. GGG is more experienced. But it is David who wants to fight GGG and this is what boxing about. David is fearless and that's why he gets more respect.
Other so called champions gonna wait 10 years until GGG gets old!

I don't see this one lasting long at all, 3-4 rounds at most.

Hell yeah im a gg hater! He turned down the opportunity to fight Ward to fight this? Someone they are planning on pot-shotting then knocking out by the 4TH round....Lol I defend Berto fight because I see that it doesnt matter WHO floyd fights, he will not get credit for it. Remember when floyd wouldnt dare fight Canelo (because Canelo was much bigger) Canelo came to the ring weighing about 165-170lbs floyd weighed about 151lbs and when Canelo didnt Win...it was because he was green. then "he wouldnt fight a guy like chino (after chino beat broner) But he did and won, but then it was he wouldnt let chino fight with his 9oz gloves, then he fought chino with 9oz gloves for the rematch and beat him worse, no credit. he wont fight Pac, he fought and beat Pac, no credit. It doesnt matter what floyd does, people are gonna hate and not give credit where credit is due. So dont go crying about gg, he offered to fight Two different fighters at 168, and when that name became Ward...oh, oh, I didnt mean it. i want to unify middle. LOL. Maybe if I didnt listen to these boxingscene hypocrites, he might have more of a chance , but just like pac fans (who migrated to his bandwagon) I will not give him any credit for fighting nobodies when he turned down a fight with #2 P4P to fight this guy and will not pay to watch this crap.

The Big Problem with Abel he was never boxer. He does not understands level of opponents. He thinks David is Stevens.

He also thought Mohamedi had chances against Kovalev. He never boxed himself. He does not know boxing tricks. Golovkin level is the same it was when he turned pro.

But Abel likes to talk a lot though.

I think his chin would hold up fine against anyone at 168 but he's not a huge middleweight and I think Ward outboxes him.

I'd pick GGG over anyone <160, including Canelo.

I'd say Lemieux-Stevens would be a pretty competitive fight - certainly not 'levels apart'.
