Floyd won the fight yes, but his legacy took a hit instead of solidifying it IMO.
He as much as anyone hears what people are saying, plus there aren't that many great options for #50. Pac would bring in the most money.
    Apparently, it was a scope.....

Very common..... technically shoulder surgery..... but not really

Nothing happened during that fight to suggest that Pac was injured.

He did not stop throwing, and he did not stop throwing with intent.

Manny did not appear to favor his left at all, he didn't mention any kind of injury to his team, nobody worked on the shoulder between rounds, and the commentators did not suspect any kind of injury..... nothing.

Also, I remember that cut that took 6 months to heal..... and no proof of the extent of that surgery was ever provided.

I definitely would not rely on Team Pacquiao for accurate information, they couldn't even fill in a form correctly.

And it's enough that If the fight happened elsewhere or outside Vegas. The offensive guy wearing the yellow trunks who put the hurt in the hurt game would have easily won it. Luckily Floyd had all the judges and referee to save him.
Floyd also did enough to make pacquiao look average and not the beast he was against algeri, cotto, margarito, and de la hoya. You say Floyd ran and hugged like a ***** but yet pac and roach cried like women when they couldn't pull the trigger. Hate on Floyd all you want but pac was the one who didn't do as promised. And everybody knows that shoulder injury was BS.

Just stating facts buddy. Your boy Floyd ran more than he ever did in his life. Clinched like his life depended on it. And threw less punches in that fight compared to all his fights. Why? Because of one guy who made him look *****. Pacquiao.

With a busted right shoulder. Pac fought Floyd's game. And countered Floyd like ease. Hunted Floyd the entire night. Truth hurts buddy. Pac made Floyd look like a scared little pussay cat.

We can, but I'll paraphrase some of his nonsense. "Manny's looking great. Manny got his killer instinct back. Manny is destroying his sparring partners. We've got game plans if Floyd fights or if he runs. Leg cramps won't be a problem for Manny. I got Manny custom-made socks. Manny said he wants to knock Floyd out in the name of Jesus." etc. ;-)

I have to admit that I didn't belive it myself, but I rewatched the fight with my screen submerged in salt water playing in slow motion with tinfoil on my head and ... well, Floyd still won.

Pac went into that fight gun shy without a smidget of the killer instinct he had against previous opponents. Why is that? Let me tell you. Pac for the first time in his career went against someone that he didn't have a big speed advantage over. Floyd had a longer reach and best defense Pac has ever faced. Once he got hit with that lead right hand he knew what he was up against. And Floyd didn't clinch as much as people claims he did. Its just another excuse haters use as usual. As far as running, he moves in every fight so why would Pacquiao be any different. And he clinched more in the Maidana fight. Pacquaio also threw and landed less then in his previous fights. Floyd even threw more punches then the so called offensive Pacquiao. It may not have been by much but he still threw more And his shoulder was not busted. There is no way he would have been able to throw those combinations and right hands the way he did if he was seriously injured. Pac and Roach couldn't accept they were beaten and used the shoulder as a way to make excuses. People are still talking about this fight because its the pac fans that can't accept the truth. They hoped that Pac would finally shut Floyd up and take his 0. That didn't happen as Floyd didn't even looked as if he was in a fight. At least Cotto made Floyd bleed. What did Pac do? Nothing. Pac didn't look like the dominating whirlwind he usually does because he couldn't handle Floyd's style and defense, period. He was nothing special that night, just another fighter that tried and failed like all the others.
