What I know from Pride is they have soccer kicks and foot stomping on downed opponents. Plus I think cage gives wrestlers an advantage in UFC as opposed to having the three ring ropes.

You can also tell they screwed the judo guy over, "here you go pop on your judo outfit we wont give mirko a judo outfit so you cant even grab his ass and to make matters worse heres a pair of gloves to pop on your hands. You can tell the judo guy didnt know what he got himself into by the look on his face when he got kicked in the leg and then uppercutted in the face. Its like they didnt tell him this is a real fight

in pride judo/karate gi was an option.

yoshida was judo. the other guy i think was karate.

pride had special shoes that you can kick with. also optional. but that was bad news if a sub guy goes for a foot/leg lock, you cant pull your foot out.
