Once again Paulie is correct! Chavez, jr. was an A grade fighter on HBO.
When he went to the PBC he got knocked out in his first fight there.
PBC boxers possess a higher skill level than those HBO brawlers.

You're limiting the perimeter of the argument to PBC or American fighters.

America has it's fair share of lame fights, but since, the $ is in U.S., the talent pool flocks from all over for training/fighting to compete for that shot, which drives the over all quality of fights put on American soil.

Both the Pole and German/Bosnian were doing just that. The fight in my sign. Another example (out of countless) would be GGG vs Lemeiux.

13 of the last 15 (4 out of last 5) Ring Magazine fight of the year involved a foreign national.

Even the easy touches/cherry picks in States are higher quality than any other country where you'd have hopeless Ghanian/Belarussians coming in to be punching bags.

I do believe American fighters should travel more. This whole "proving" your worth by traveling should be a two way street.
