if ggg turned pro at age 19 he would have turned pro at 140. ggg has moved up 4 divisions in that same time span.

          what a difference!

to pretend that moving up divisions when someone is fully grown is the same thing as a young man in their 20's moving up divisions is very disingenuous.

also floyd needed a catchweight for the lineal title vs canelo but not others. same thing you just criticized ggg for lol. do you even pay attention to what you say?
Ummmm, no, he didn't. Floyd stayed at 130 until he was about 24. He didn't move up any divisions in that time span.

There's also quite a big difference between doing it in 3 round amateur fights and doing it at the highest world level against actual professional world champions. To pretend there isn't is very disingenuous.

GGG turned pro at 24 and hasn't moved up a single division or beaten a single number one ranked or number one champion in that time despite now being 33.

Maybe a less disingenuous thing to do would be to compare their records from 24 to 33?

I believe he was actually 24, funnily enough, when he moved up from his first division at 130, maybe 23. By the age of 33 he'd already moved up five divisions and beaten I think about 15 world champions.

So you said it was disingenuous to compare them as Floyd started at 19 and GGG at 24, and Floyd is now 38 and GGG 33.

Well, between the ages of 24 and 33 GGG has beaten I think 2 or 3 champions and moved up, ummmm, no divisions at all in fact.

Floyd, taking away his early growth period as a young man that you said gave him some kind of weird disingenuous statistical advantage, , between the ages of 24 and 33 moved up five divisions and beat around 15 world champions, give or take, I couldn't be bothered counting properly.

I assume it's short for 'family'? Is it the new cool way of saying 'bro' or '****'?

Either way, sounds ****ing gay you ****s.
Sir I'm going to have to ask you to calm down.

Fam is short for family. I would like this place to be more family friendly environment and just for people to get along better. I thought by calling each other fam that it would be a good start.

Its actually working quite well so far. Internet violence here is down by 40%.

Well, they sort of were and sort of weren't. Obviously it would have been better, but Johnson actually lost with a Floyd fight lined up if he had won. Two times in fact. Lazcano flatly refused the fight up front.

Floyd was at the Lazcano/Johnson eliminator fight as it was going to be organised to fight the winner, which was meant to be Johnson, but Lazcano knocked him out, which put Johnson out of the running for the second time, and Lazcano literally refused the Floyd fight right there at the post fight press conference saying, from memory, that one million wasn't enough and he wanted more. Floyd wasn't earning much more himself at this stage mind you...so?

With Johnson, there was talk of an initial meet at 135 while Floyd was still at 130, which from memory is where Natas found the Arum thing *****ing about Floyd already. Johnson took a fight in the meantime against Castillo while they were still talking things out and trying to get negotiations begun for Floyd to move up to 135 for the fight, but guess what? Johnson lost to Castillo and Castillo became the man at 135.

Should Floyd have fought Johnson instead of Castillo and copped ten times more flack, or should he have done what you're meant to do in that situation and fight the guy at the top of the division, the best fighter there that won, or should he have fought the loser? It's a real 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' thing it seems for Floyd.

What do you respect him for doing more? Fighting the winner, or fighting the loser? It seems like you're saying he should have fought the loser instead. It takes two to tango remember and he was still with Arum.

Finally, after Floyd had beaten Castillo the second time round properly, the Johnson fight looked to be back on track, and all Johnson had to do was beat Lazcano in the title eliminator, but he got knocked out and so Floyd offered the fight to Lazcano, who flatly refused it directly after the fight.

The Johnson fight could have happened earlier, but when it did get underway for things to happen, Johnson lost twice in the lead up to it in fights he needed to win. Lazcano just refused.
