Good for Golovkin, we need more fighters like him in boxing and If we did have more we could likely could have something worth competing against the golden age nobody wants to watch boring fights, fans go to fights to be wowed not bored this is why the 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's and 90's were simply the best years boxing ever had, no ***** footing about just two men in the ring wanting to settle business like men and yes some displayed a great technical prowess but they didn't need to be a ***** about it time wasting with spoiling tactics and ruining a potential good fight.
after floyd was pro for 9 years he was in his 3rd division and was a 3 time world champion and a 2 time lineal champion
GGG is 33 when Floyd was 33 he was a 6 time champion in 5 divisions and a 3 time lineal champion
**** outta here Floyd did not need a catchweight to move up in his 1st division to fight the lineal champion..but GGG needs one for Ward?Last edited by Larry the boss; 08-15-2015, 04:54 PM.

You'd be hard pressed to think of one single moment maybe at a push with Floyd's early moments as a lightweight but at welterweight he has been one of the most yawn worthy boring fighter I think we've ever experienced, **** your health son this is a combat sport you don't join the army expecting nothing to go wrong so why in hell name do you expect to join a competitive fighting game earning the top dollar out of all sports athletes to put on some of the worst PPV events we've ever seen?
Fighting a bunch of paper weight champions in an era where anyone can be a champion counts for little but If you count that as an achievement that's your choice not mines all I'm saying is If GGG was an American he'd likely regarded as the second coming of Marvin Halger, Floyd has been spoon fed his entire career hand held and promoted by some of the best guys GGG has not had this liberty.

I think what he and many others are excited about regarding Gennady has to do with his entertaining style of skillful offensive fighting and high KO percentage. It is at no fault of his own that his resume isn't better being that Lemieux is quite literally the first middleweight title holder willing to unify with him.
