46 years old and out of shape, but Tarver showed fairly impressive stamina for a 12 round fight while throwing some bombs. I know he paced himself, but that's pretty su****ious.

This is the real issue for me with PEDs. When the promoters of the event handle the drug testing, they can control how the testing is done and what's being tested. It's also why I say legalize & regulate PEDs. Let the fighters use them in a safer way and attain better performance while opening up a more level playing field.

Steve frustrates the hell out of me. He has so many tools but he never utilises them to their fullest and always elects to slug it out in the trenches despite possessing zero power and a china chin. He could have fought the whole fight on the outside, peppering Tarver with the jab and won a comfotable UD. But no, he has abandon his jab, let Tarver walk him back to the ropes and tee off on him through his sloppy high guard. There were times in the fight where Tarver literally couldn't do anything to him, but like the macho idiot he is Steve has to give up everything that was working for him in order to go on the offensive winging wild shots and getting countered all night. Great plan.

I'm still a fan of his, and still think he should have got the nod, but it was a close hard to score fight that deserved to be a draw. Steve's got robbed in the past, but this was a case of him giving the fight away through sheer foolishness.

It's hardly like he was fighting at a lightning pace, though, was it? And he looked absolutely exhausted in the latter stages of the contest.

Tarver's just one of those fighters like Toney who's so comfortable in the ring that he burns up almost no nervous energy while fighting.

Bull****!!! Cunningham sucks!!! Fights like an amateur. All that physique and nothing to show for it, not even conditioning. Guy gets tired by the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

I shut it off after five but am surprised to see a draw. At that point in the fight Tarver had done absolutely nothing.

I thought Cunningham edged it out, but a draw isn't outrageous.

A draw seemed fair enough, as with any draw you can kind of argue either way though. I would say Cunningham had the stronger case for the W, but as got said it is not like he was really making a big impression with his landed punches.

Tarver is going to need to roid in the off season to get rid of that fat. I hate to see what he looks like outside of training camp if this is what he looks like on fight night.
