    Good thread

Ive go With Rigon, Donaire was top 5 p4p around that time, he was completely dominated

But two great fights that showed what separates good skill to skilled boxing greats

very interesting question. ward was expected to beat froch while rigo was tipped to lose. donaire was also the no.1 guy in his division, something froch has never been and a multiple weight world champ who was pretty high on most people p4p list.

push come to shove i would go with froch

Donaire is a clearly greater historical fighter, and was a more skilled, better fighter than Froch at the time Rigo beat him.

            It's clearly Rigo beating Donaire.

Donaire has had a better career than any of the other three fighters involved in this conversation.

It was 55-45 Donaire on NSB. No need to exaggerate to make the win look better.

Rigs win over Donaire and it's not even close.

Donaire was overrated. In his fights against Navarez, Vazquez, Mathebula - Donaire looked like a limited head hunter. He had no setup to his power shots, just tried to walk them down while loading up his shot. It's why Vazquez came back from a near stoppage and gave him hell and why little Navarez was able to stink out the joint against him.

In Rigo's only other high-level fight vs Cordoba, he had real challenge on his hands.

Froch was more than just KO puncher with a size advantage by beating Pascal and coming back against Taylor, completely outboxing Abraham when he was still dangerous, even showed his metal in close fights with Kessler & Dirrell.
Yeah, but Rigo schooled Agbeko better than Ward did Kessler or Dawson.

Rigondeaux... Although Wards win was notable but not as prolific as Rigondeaux. As previously said, many if not 90% of the posters on here believed Inexperianced/glass chinned Rigondeaux would lose and even after the fight cried disbelief. Rigondeaux went from the almost unheard to the man who beat The Fighter Of The Year just a few months prior.

                      Rigondeaux without a second thought.
