Any chance Haymon is involved in this somehow, behind the scenes? We already know he was trying to block Mosley/Mayorga II because he has Santa Cruz and Mares fighting on that night. Wouldn't surprise me if he encouraged King in this. Or maybe my extreme hatred of Haymon is making me jump to this conclusion .

Actually, that would be the classy thing to do. And it wouldn't make someone two-faced for doing it. I see idiots all the time on blogs with... R.I.P. to the guy, even though he was a POS in so many words. That's just being a jurrrk. Zero class. I can't stand King, for 30+ years and running, but yeah I would say R.I.P. when he croaks. And then down some vodka that night in celebration.
