On one hand I have zero interest in Mosely/Mayorga. On the other I despise promoters like Don King and Gary Shaw. King's history of stealing from his fighters is disgusting beyond compare and this is only another scenario of him keeping a fighter away from making a living. Die already you POS.

Absolutely, that's the meaning of having a contractual agreement. Everybody knows that Mayorga has been a King fighter for many years. It was irresponsible for anyone to sign Mayorga to a fight without knowing his status with Don King.

As you said, if Don King is compensated the fight goes on.

However, King, who has promoted Mayorga for most of his career and claims that he still has a valid promotional agreement with him, sent a legal letter to Burchfield this week, demanding that he pull the 40-year-old Mayorga from the card.

The sad thing here is it's clear Mayorga is just trying to make a little bit of money. he's a 40-something year old washed up fighter. What could Don King possibly earn off this guy? I mean at this point he's screwing him just so that Mayorga can't make a living. What is Mayorga to an 85 year old Don King anyway at this point of his career? It's pretty sickening.
