My big bro just hooked it up with some tickets to see Mares vs LSC for my bday. Im pretty damn excited since I've yet to go to a big event like this. What was the first fight card you went to see live? Where was it and how was the atmosphere?

First fight was Morales vs Chavez and my second was Marquez vs Pacquiao.... Good times, I been to allot of fights diffrent venues but my all time favorite spot to see a fight is the stubhub center in Carson.

My first fight I ever saw live and in person was at the old famous memorial auditorium in downtown Sacramento as a 14 year old kid. It was a birthday gift from my dad and he took me to see my favorite fighter of all time Bobby Chacon vs bazooka limon 4. One of the best fights of all time. That placed packed them in, everyone was drunk and smoking. I remember it being a crazy atmosphere. It's my greatest memory as a fight fan and that still stands 35 years later.

Ruslan Provodnikov vs David Torres in Spokane,WA. Torres was from where I grew up and it was a Friday Night Fight as well so I had to go. Ruslan KO'd him in 6. Vince Vaughn was there too watching a fighter he was promoting or something, Yakubu Amidu. He lost.
