Penalty was too soft. Compare it to what was handed out to Anderson Silva this week. A one year suspension and a $380,000.00 fine. And Silva was probably using steroids to recuperate faster from the devastating leg break that happened last year. He was also required to reimburse the attorney general’s office expenses, required to reimburse the drug testing costs, and the win over Diaz was changed to a No Contest.

    Boxing lets fighters off easy.

It's sad Beltran needed juice to beat a fighter who looked about 2 weight divisions below him.

              Try again.

what is it with race? lol NSB is a pathethic race motivatied place.
Regardless of race, diuretics are still a PED. Using a drug to artificially cut weight and hence gain a size advantage over your opponent on fight night is as much cheating as any other form of drug use.

I think silva got what he deserved. Theres no excuses. Diaz will be hit harder for freaken pot regardless of how many times he has popped. Now Beltran on the other hands penalty was way to soft, im not usually a conservative but the way he ko'd that asian kid juiced to the gils was ridiculous & he deserved at minimum a 2yr to lifetime ban. I likedRy but not at all anymore & this punishment further disgusts me with him...

Weebler has a point. I can't think of any names in England or Europe that have tested positive off the top of my head.

It happens every now and then, but not that often. Drug testing in Europe is not always done like in the US. In many cases there is no money in boxing and good commissions (except the BBBoC) don't really exist in Europe.
