  • Comments Thread For: Lucas Browne Avoids Disaster, Rallies To KO Long In Nine

Lucas Browne has spent the past nine months calling out several heavyweights, begging for fights and even trying to wrap his head around the fact that he is blocked by his own promoter on Twitter.

All of that took a back seat to a potentially disastrous turn Friday evening. The unbeaten heavyweight overcame an early deficit and a hand injury to score a bailout 9th round knockout of clubfighter Julius Long in Melbourne, Australia. [Click Here To Read More]

This guy doesn't deserve a title shot at all. It's a good looking record after fighting bums but he clearly isn't on the same level as the top 10 in Heavy.

How or why he is on the cusp of a title fight is beyond me?? Wait, he did beat the 250 version of the once great James Toney. Does that also mean that Charles Ellis is also on the cusp?
