Fight would have been better at the full 160lbs but Cotto is the champ and im sure he doesnt want Canelo comfortably making weight. Still no complaints here. Glad the rivarly is continuing.

because the 160 pound title is on the line and for the third straight time its being fought below 160. 154 is a catch weight division in itself, and now they need another catch weight division inside the other catchweight division lame.

The biggest gripe and rightfully so, is the title and Cotto not defending the MW Title against a MW at the MW limit of 160lbs. Thats not hard to understand.

As for the fight itself, i dont havr a problem with the catchweight and based on their size, its not going to diminish eithrr fighters victory. Canelos growing out of JMW and Cotto is a small MW..perfect matchup. No excuses.

Neither fighter has an advantage with the catch weight so it don't bother me. This is a example where a catch weight works. Only thing that bugs me is that the 160 title is on the line but that's because of Cotto. This fight is bigger then that belt but in a perfect world cotto would of vacated it before taking this fight rather keeping it hostage at 155

CW's I can sorta live with. The fact that the lineal MW title is at stake I can't. For this reason Oscar is wrong but I guess as the promoter he has to justify it, juts doing his job.

The bout is that much bigger cause its the MW championship at stake. That's why Cotto is being such a diva, he's got the belt. And winner remains above Ggg in the MW ratings. That's why the ridiculous CW is a problem
