Everything about this guy tells me he's got no heart. Put him in with maidana. And I bet he'll fold

It's a well known fact that Kell Brook is a protected world champion right now. Eddie Hearn is going to milk all these easy and safe defenses until he can cash out in a big money fight vs Khan.

(I like Thurman more than Brook, but that is the way things should go...)
Idk about it being about turns.

It was probably a lil ****** Brook had to come to the US in the first place for his title shot as I'd assume it'd have been in both fighters interest to fight in the UK for that fight too. Brook is probably the 3rd most popular guy as far as asses in seat revenue in the division outside of Manny & Floyd. For what I believe the homefield advantage to be worth in boxing you are probably making out way better going for the bigger money wherever it happens to lie.

So Thurman should just go there cuz of money not turns.

Such as staying up from a solid body shot or fighting with a big lump on his forehead?

What happened when Maidana got hit to the body against Khan?

Brook is quite OK -- he knows his craft... But, as for my taste, he was allowed to clinch excessively during the Porter fight... And this happened in the U.S. ... I can imagine what would happen in the U.K. against Thurman... But Thurman fights from his back foot, though...

I think Hearn has a fair track record when it comes to his champions and taking some risks. But of course he wants to make sure, like Haymon does, that his fighters are getting a proper risk/reward.
**** on. Hearn is better than other promoters, but he's certainly no worse. The whole "holding the belt hostage" thing is an absolute joke. Brook's defences have been better than Wilder's but because he's not American he's "holding the belt hostage".

If he wants that belt and he is screaming out for the opportunity then he has no choice, unless Brook gets paid a ridiculous amount of money then I don't see him as the champion giving up home advantage. The thing is Brook as a challenger had to travel to win that belt so I don't blame him if his Team wants Thurman to come over and challenge for it in the UK.

(Regardless of the rhetoric) Thurman/Brook would be a GREAT fight

Well Maidana had the chance to fight him twice and he didn't want to know twice.

When was that? Because maidana is older and he was after a belt -- which he managed to get it from Broner...
