Posted this before. Thurman does what Haymon tells him to do. So far they haven't offered Brook the fight in America and they aren't going to the UK.

Thurman yaps a lot but then Haymon gave him one name for his last fight - Collazo lol - and he had no choice but to accept.

Yeah, it's strange. These Haymon fighters say rubbish like 'i'll fight anyone, anywhere', but then fall back on 'I'll do whatever my manager, Al Haymon, thinks is best'.

I'm not sure if they're actually beholden to Haymon in the selection of opposition, or just use it as a front to avoid fighters? You'd like to think it was the former only. But, then, why stay with him?

It's coming directly from Thurman's own mouth that Haymon wouldn't let him travel.

Would Brook travel? Probably not, but he's the champion. He doesn't have to.

Well, it was a body shot from Guerrero of all people. Not exactly a heavy handed puncher at all. Thurman has regressed. I don't know if it is the match making, his management, or just himself, but he needs to change up his whole outfit IMO. Including a new corner. Thruman is offensive minded and needs a coach that focuses on that style.

I used to be pretty high on Thurman, but he's coming off like he's losing that attitude of wanting to fight anybody anywhere. He used to tout not being afraid to lose that 0, but his actions lately, and these statements are contrary to that guy that started the hype.

I love certain Internet fans. Their opinions remind me of the Jay-Z lyric "Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?"

              "Thurman is regressing"

Really? Please tell me how . . .

He made Julio Diaz retired in the corner with ****** up ribs after the same Diaz had just given Shawn Porter two tough fights. And gave Khan a VERY tough fight.

Then 12-0's Bundu and was able to drop him from a southpaw stance (something he had started to learn/practice only six weeks prior to the fight).

Rag dolls Guerrero and maybe loses two rounds (beat Ghost in a more impressive fashion than did Floyd - all the while fighting with a huge hematoma on his forehead)

Then beats the **** out of Collazo and makes him retire in his corner but because Collazo caught him with a flush shot to the liver (which Thurman didn't go down from, was able to survive the round and then went back to heavy bagging Collazo in the next round) that's somehow indicative of how Thurman has regressed.

Give me a break w/that garbage. And then some of those same people want to big up Errol Spence becoming a TMT unpaid parrot. That's lane man. Just because certain people might have a higher opinion of a fighter than you do doesn't mean you go into emotional fan boy geek mode and try to discredit everything that fighter does. Stay objective!

I think people over-rank Floyd in an all time sense WAY too high and I think he's an absolute piece of **** of a person but you'll never hear or see me saying he's not a great fighter and isn't in the upper echelon in an all-time sense . . That would be ridiculous

Thurman hasn't been looking great lately. Who are you kidding? He was struggling against COLLAZO! He didn't beat the **** out of him in any shape of form. Collazo quitting was also pretty damn suspect considering his past fights.

So do you agree with the guy who says everything about Thurman shows he has no heart?
