Fights you were shocked by because you were certain a fighter was going to win

    mine are
Manny vs Floyd (so sure Manny was going to win in the build up)

Roy Jones vs Joe Calzaghe (I know this is a bad one but I honestly believed the Roy Jones comeback hype)

Cotto vs Manny (I thought Cotto was just a better fighter and too strong for Pac/he was slightly drained though)

Probably best to leave out Robberies or this thread will just turn into an argument lol

thats why I left out Hopkins vs Calzaghe

Lewis getting ko'd by Rahman was utterly shocking. Tyson losing to Holyfield was unreal. You just couldn't believe what was happening.

Shouldn't have made that ****** comment - only a few black panthers in the Philidelphia chapter believe Hopkins beat Joey Zagz...

        And the racist Adelaide Byrd.

Every time Hopkins walks the streets of Phly little black kids whisper "Joe Calzaghe."

This is to older posters, but did anyone actually think that Ali would beat Foreman back in the day when they fought?

Jones- Tarver 2 broke my Heart

especially how Roy was looking rejuvenated and very crisp in the first round and leading into that shot....he got hit with a shot he didn't see coming

this is when I learned that you beat speed with timing and you have to punch with the faster fighter....great shot

I was in finishing my first year in college and this fight happened around my 19th birthday

Seeing my child hood hero knocked out liked that made me realize no matter how great a fighter is, they cant beat father time or a well placed counter shot

                    Recent memory;

Pacquaio-Marquez 3. I know Pacquaio got the decision but I thought Marquez was going to get destroyed

Froch vs Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham and Bute. Was certain he'd lose all of those.

                    Moreno Vs Mares

Going further back Trinidad-Hopkins, Tyson-Holyfield, the obvious ones.
