  • In Defense of Pac Fans

I listened to Rick on Ring Talk Radio and agree that for the most part, Pac fans have been over the top and many times pointless in the subject matters they choose to share with interested individuals. Being a Pac fan and avid boxing fan for many years, I admit that I have been guilty of being a part of the Pacman hype and being one sided when it comes to sharing my opinions in regards to Manny. I have been around forums before just to read peoples opinions on various fighters and fights but never really began posting until I felt a need to support a boxer that I have become passionate about.(For the record I think boxingscene.com is the best one out there) Having grown up in the Philippines, I can relate to Manny's struggle and revel in his incredible accomplishments. Being a third world country, we do not have too many things to brag about. You have to understand that Manny represents the faith that even in the worst of situations there is hope. Filipinos are very proud people, and Manny is a position to show the world who we are. It really does not matter who Manny faces, logic in these matters are drowned by faith. Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, the Britsh, etc. are all guilty of losing their senses when it comes to their proud fighters. This new flood of Filipino fight fans can only be good for boxing. I am sure Morales, Barrera, and Marquez have gained a whole new audience because of it.

I just wish they all had the same logic as u do.Maybe if the internet was as popular in the Chavez era then we would have a lot of crazy ass mexicans saying some crazy ass ****,but then again by the time people started being real passionate for Chavez he was a living legend and had proven to the whole world he was worthy of the best p4p mention.Very good post though.Maybe you can rub off on some of your country men.

P.s You make me wanna cry.

Don't tell me you are not gonna enforce your bragging rights if Morales wins. All is fair in love and boxing. Common man, have a little fun. Someone is going to win this fight. I can take it as well as I can give it. It is all in the name of fun. I don't know who will win but I have heard so much **** from both sides it will be fun. I know my Mexican buddies are going to have a field day with me if Morales wins as I will have with them if Pac wins. Keep the faith. I hope it will be a great and competitive fight. Morales will always have my respect regardless. I am also a huge fan of his. Filipinos and Mexicans share common blood so I have always been proud of Mexican fighters as well. Peace.
