I apologise for forcing you to choose lol

      Man..........

What a fight this would have been. Manny is a top 10-15 ATG to most. He is in my personal top 5, along with Duran, Whitaker, SRL, Hagler, and Holyfield. Duran is the greatest Lightweight EVER. Hands down! Manny would KO most at 140lbs, because his power is at it's greatest at that weight. Given that, you all know how Manny is my favorite active fighter today. But I will continue to prove that I am an honest poster. I call it like I see it. Duran by late KO or stoppage. Duran is the most violent fighter I have ever seen.

"Born to fight". I have only seen 2 guys in my lifetime that were born to fight.. Not trained, not talented, but purely born to fight... That is duran and james toney..
These dudes could stand and trade with anybody, any time, any weight, and really rise to the occassion in firefights..

Duran-manny would be a great fight, but duran is basically barrera, morales, marquez all rolled into a single fighter... Too much for manny and he would get caught in the second half of the fight and be stopped

Pacquiao usually does very well against guys that come to him and inside fighters in general due to his blazing speed, power, footwork and ability to punch going backwards and while turning. Actually Pacquiao is at his best when pressured.
I believe he is so good against that kind of fighter that i would probably bet on him to beat ATG like Julio Cesar Chavez.

But Duran is not your "general" inside fighter. He could also box and very well, so well that he could (at times) counter Sugar Ray Leonard's lazer like jab with his right hand. He could duck and slip punches like few fighters and come out of a defensive posture blasting punches.

Duran also didn't pressure in conventional ways, sometimes he would just bullrush fighters to the ropes (like sometimes he did Leonard, to great effect), but most of the time he would wait for a counter opportunity to close the distance while punching.

He would also probably the stronger and the best puncher Pacquiao ever faced.

Duran by clear UD or late stoppage.
