That creepy man-love thing he got going for Golovkin has turned him into a mindless ******.

Hero, here is another one for ya
And again something that's been answered a thousand times. Stunning ******ity

    1. Canelo Cotto are fighting for the MW lineal belt. Imposing a CW for a title defense vs divisional rival is super rare. Why? Cause it automatically brands you a paper champ, something most fighters resent

    2. Ggg is also the winners mando. They cannot impose a CW. If they insist on it, they get to drop the belt

Dude you should kill yourself, you're a waste of air. Can you fcuking follow a simple argument? So what? Once again Canelo has not made 154 in 2 years!

There is no such thing you asshat !

Nobody cares what weight they fight at.

        Know why ?

Because neither of them are middleweights, OBVIOUSLY.

Before Martinez, that fight would have been at 154.

Again, Cotto weighs 153, and Canelo weighs 155..... Canelo can obviously make 154.

BTW, anyone who avoids a threat is labelled as a paper something.

Its been mentioned dozens of times.

They will insist on it alright, and good for them.

        Read this post.....

        Please answer honestly.

With the correct answer being 0..... are you Golovkin fans OK with that ?
Golovkin will either be chewing lettuce for weeks, or fighting {insert bum here} for a vacant title. His call, it dont worry me none.

The winner should vacate, because neither are middleweights.

Cotto already stated..... every MW opponent will be at catchweight.

If you cant handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Well there is such a thing, google it cretin. Its a pretty simple concept, though not for you Im sure. It's why Cotto is above Ggg in most rankings, even though nobody believes he can beat Ggg. They're also fighting for the WBC belt.

And if they insist on the CW and drop the belt, big deal. Ggg gets to be undisputed either way. Canelo is too proud to drop it just to avoid Ggg anyway

            Absolute rubbish, link me.....

The only thing apparent from your post, and I am pointing this out because you obviously missed it......

Is that Canelo is twice the fighter that Golovkin is.

I agree that Canelo could possibly take that fight, against the bigger Golovkin...... the same move that Golovkin was too scared to make with Ward.

Pity that Golovkin dont have the same pride that Canelo has.

Google.com. learn to use it. And look up most any MW ranking starting here.

Canelo was 172 fight night 2.5 years ago. Ggg highest recorded weight is 172. so much for smaller

If he beats Cotto, he better fight his mando peoples champ Ggg, you'd expect he would. In the meantime Ward should fight Kovalev, it only makes sense

I think he would but his team know better. He's overridden them before so lets hope. But losing to Ggg would be so physically punishing, they don't want another Vargas

if Cotto's not a mw, don't pretend to be one and keep a mw belt

Cotto can't dictate catchweight terms to his mandatory, so he can run from GGG back to jmw and ruin whatever legacy he has left

Many posters here keep repeating here, like some sort of propaganda parrots, what they've heard from fighters, promoters etc when these are making business oriented statements... Honest people (some fans included) know that such statements do not necessarily represent the factual truth, but sheer individual interests only.
Honest fans should only pursue their own interest, which should consist in getting the best possible fights (within a given context), according to the actual rules of the sport.

In the case here we have Golovkin who publicly challenged Martinez, Alvarez, Cotto, Quillin, Lee, Lemieux (at 160), Mayweather (at 154), Chavez, Jr, Ward, Froch (at 168)... From all these above only Ward and Lemieux positively responded -- but only recently... Ward, because of his career low status; Lemieux, apparently because ODLH suddenly forced him... In the given context, Golovkin chose the Lemieux unification fight at 160, which was the natural step to undertake. As Golovkin is now after all the belts at 160, he doesn't have to fight neither Ward nor Lara (who both represent unnecessary risk fights, given his short term goal)...
