Where would certain fighters be If they took the Floyd approach?

There are a lot of good fighters right now but the question is where would some of the ATG's and present fighters be If they were waiting for the opponents we want to see them fight start to fade?

What If Muhammad Ali made Joe Frazier wait til the late 70's or 80's for that fight to finally happen, what If he asked opponents to wear certain more padded gloves and what would people think If he avoided some of the best names on his resume like Ken Norton, Shavers, Foreman and so on just because Ali thought they didn't do enough to 'earn' it?
Would Ali have had the right to honestly call himself the greatest of all time?

Where would some certain current fighters be right now If they took that Floyd approach of carefully waiting it out with their opponents to have a bad turn of form before they decided to face them, I personally think Wladimir would be unbeaten if he had the same mentality of a Floyd Mayweather cherry picker, he'd have known to not fight entertaining at all in his early days and instead adopt the clinch and forearm technique from the get go that and obviously avoiding guys left right and center.

To be honest when you look at it like this a lot of good guys from the past could have easily maintained their 0.

Real fans know the real reasons why prime SHane, ODH, cotto and Manny all refused to fight Floyd.

If this poster wants to hold it against Floyd, so be it.

Make sure you hold not fighting Sergio against GGG and not fighting Stevenson against Kov since those fights didn't happen for the same reasons.

        All fighters should do it.

Considering its so easy to go 20 years undefeated through 5 weight classes, 4 of which Lineal, 13 world titles, 10 #1 ranked fighters beaten, 7 Top 10 P4P fighters beaten, 22 world champions beaten. AND all whilst making the most money a boxer has ever made.

It's so easy I'm surprised only Floyd has managed to pull it off.

Because we all know doing the above is extremely easy and not impressive at all.

I am on topic, which is why you didn't respond to the post. You have serious issues regarding race but you are not an uneducated redneck that isn't a boxing fan.

You are just trolling today. Maybe you got laid off or your girl/boy friend told you they needed some space so you came to NSB to vent.

Just be consistent. Hold "no prime ATGs" against all boxers, regardless of race or nationality.

As for managing your career-I suggest every fighter from now on work as hard as Floyd does , train as hard as he does, win your fights and handle your business without a promoter.

then if you can't get fights with the big names like ODH or Shane, adopt a villain persona and pimp the game.

Wlad wouldn't be undefeated because he lost to Ross Purity. That's like Floyd losing to Tony Pep.

Floyd wouldn't have fought him, he has too high of a KO percentage.

No he didn't. He was 24-13-1 with 22 KOs.

                22 KOs / 38 fights = 58%

                  Oh I agree there he wouldn't fight a guy with 13 loss's.

Floyd doesn't tend to fight people with high KO percentages like a Diego Corrales for example who was 33-0 with 27 KO's.
