Why do the same people always willfully ignore the fact that Top Rank refuses to do business outside of their shop, even after "the end of the Cold War"? Probably cuz they were hoping Mayweather would call them. When you got two cash cows in a division like Floyd & Manny it can definitely stop that 2nd tier of cats from fighting in hopes of getting the call or until they get some heads up that a big fight will get them the cash cow.
