But the first Maidana fight was an extremely entertaining/competitive fight.

Im talking about Great Fights that kept you standing up and excited about watching. The wow factor.
        Canelo, JMM, Ortiz, and Mosley.

Canelo got his bigazz walked down by Floyd, who looked like a little bitty baby. Canelo is a great fighter and all, but the risk, and circumstances. He was 22yrs old, 165lbs, and Floyd was 150lbs, and 37yrs old. Floyd was throwing combinations and standing in front of him the entire fight, doing magic. Canelo landed naythan!!! The crowd actually yelled for that fight more than they did that boring azz Danny vs Lucas fight. That fight ****** and only got noise near the last few rounds. Floyd put on a show and the crowd loved it.

JMM, wasnt aggressive performance like the latter, but Floyd was slick af and did all types of magic from the outside with wizard-like dipsey doodles that made the crowd go ooohh and aaahh. You rarely see a fighter so slick that the crowd is standing up just amazed by the speed, slickness, athleticism. Roy Jones times Pernell, all in one fighter.

The Mosley fight was boring, but everyone knew Floyd was going to run from Shane. From the opening bell, he came forward and when Shane had him hurt, his corner told him to go back to boxing. He lied by saying "Okay" then walked him down without being touched. Again, boring, but amazing by Floyd.

Then in the 8th round when Shane tried to talk to stall the whippin, Floyd sucker punched him which made it a tad personal. I liked that fight.

The Ortiz fight. Ortiz isnt anything special, but the circumstances; Floyd was 34 and 150lbs while Ortiz was coming off a great win at that time, and 24yrs old 164lbs. Floyd walked him down as well, throwing SRL combinations, and I loved the ending to that fight as well. The fight turned personal with Floyd paying him back with a brutal KO. The crowd loved it and screamed for the KO, but the replay showed the ref looking away, so the crowd thought Floyd hit him before the ref said box.

The pac fight was boring, but when the best fight the best it wont always be a barn burner. Your on the edge of your seat because you dont know who will win. For instance I wanted Broner to beat Porter.

The fight was boring, but I didnt know what would happen at any moment.

Floyd began dominating Pac from the opening bell but I thought that if this was supposed to be the guy to beat Floyd, at any moment he was going to get a knock down or something. I was on the edge of my seat, and it was shocking to see Floyd being the aggressor from the opening round. I dont agree that Floyd ran. He was the only one throwing punches. He stood in front of Pac the entire fight, even when he went backwards, he let Pac be in his face. That made it a great fight, and seeing how slow Floyd made Pac look. Those small things made it great for me.

All of those are Floyd's best fights!!

when was the last time you saw a competitive opponent? you're finding an issue with a guy because he's very good
really, you're finding issue with him because you're a racially biased pacquiao fan, and floyd is black.

i thought the cotto fight was pretty good. maidana I, too. they were competitive.

it's not floyd's fault that he's a terrific boxer and counterpuncher, and that guys don't want any more after a few rounds. nobody makes them shell up and stop trying other than floyd jr. he makes them shell up with some of the cleanest, sharpest counterpunches you're ever going to see.

              Thread back fire.

Sure, Pacquaio-Mayweather wasn't a slug fest, but it was actually pretty entertaining from the stand point of strategy and boxing purity.

And both Maidana fights were entertaining as Maidana was very physical and turned parts of them into a brawl. The Canelo and Guerero fights turned into boring mismatches. The Cotto fight was a great fight. Before those the Hatton, Mosely, and Marquez fights were total, master class performances that were entertaining because they were so close to perfect.

People have this attitude that Floyd should let people hit him to make it a slug fest, that's not the type of boxer he is. People talk about great fights, they usually mean close fights, Floyd hasn't been in too many close fights. If a 100m sprinter was capable of running sub 9 seconds, would people complain that they haven't been in many great races and they're boring because each race is a blowout win for them?

Remember when Roach and company were saying that Mayweather's legs were shot after the Maidana fights? Guess they weren't.

You think Floyd is a great fighter? That says a lot about how ignorant you really are. Try reading the thread idiot. Who gives a shlt about pretty good or competitive. The Key word is "great".
You Floyd clit riders are all the same. When youre not out robbing old ladies or looting stores Youre on NSB claiming how great floyd is just because he has Money.

That's exactly what it is. The Pac-Boy is truly a racist POS who knows very little about boxing. He can't even disguise his ignorance.
