It's an awful match-up, as almost every sporting media outlet and boxing commentator has already pointed out. Floyd almost certainly selected Berto because Andre will be an easy KO, and Floyd is tired of criticism of his hold, hug, and run defensive style from casual fight fans. This will probably be the lowest # of PPV buys since Floyd started doing PPV, which is not what one would expect from an undefeated champion at the apex of his career. The post fight PPV info on total buys will never be released to avoid Floyd's embarrassment. Floyd is claiming this is his last fight, but that is one more dishonesty from a man with many. After he KOs Berto, Floyd will attempt to end his career in a "rematch" with Manny that NO ONE wants to see. As Floyd told his uncle: "I want to end my career with "two easy fights." That is not a statement that should ever be heard coming from a championship caliber fighter.

Have to agree with Floyd here. It's a **** fight but if you don't like it don't buy it. I know I won't.

That's true, nobody is being forced to buy it but I think hes wrong if he thinks everybody will tune in to see it.
His ego got the best of him this time, hes basically telling people hes playing them and telling them they'll pay for it too. Its not just so called Mayweather haters that have an issue with this fight on PPV, its most everybody it seems.

I always buy his fights but not this one and anybody I ask about the fight just laughs when I ask if they'll be paying for it. A handful of people in my city might not make a big difference but when there are people all over that feel the same way and its going to really hurt his PPV this time and he deserves it.
