"If you review Lara's career, he's always fought the best. But now it's the other way around - because now he's already established and alot of guys are running from him. He gave the venue advantage to Paul Williams, Canelo Alvarez, Perro Angulo. Now we want them to come to us without fear. There is no better fighter than Lara at this weight. He can be matched against anyone from Floyd Mayweather to Golovkin," DeCubas Jr. said.

Where does it say that he wants Golovkin to come to 154?

You've lifted something that isn't there.

His team are clearly putting a signal of intent that they want things to go there way to an extent, they're hanging onto the words of 154-175lbs but forgetting the fact that they're not a big name draw.

They've never asked Golovkin to come to 154. They have even talked about fighting Lee for a title at 160 in order to force a Golovkin fight.

It's not to force a GGG fight lol. Here's what DeCubas said recently:

"He makes 154 perfect. But he would go to 160 if Andy Lee wins. He would fight Andy. And if that doesn't happen, then we'd try to get a fight with Golovkin."

So GGG is their backup plan, if they can't fight Lee for the title. Of course, the last time they had GGG in their plans they forgot to follow up, after Rodriguez

He already said he fight GGG at 160 next.

Cubans boxers are not scare or divas so cherry picking is not on their blood.

GGG at 160, no excuses for GGG.

Backup plan? They've been calling out Golovkin for ages. It's a shame Sanchez thought Willie Jr was a bigger name

You just need to read DeCubas' quote above. Clearly they're not going after Lee to force a GGG fight.

Clearly you have manipulated the quote to mean what you want it to. That's your expertise after all
