The only fights that has surpassed 2 million, involve Mayweather.

His "star power" pretty tested if you ask me.
Against the all time PPV star at the time in ODL, an emerging superstar in Canelo, and a fellow PPV star in Pac. Mayweather is obviously a draw but he had help with those 3 highest PPV's. Berto not only not helps, he even hurts it as he's seen as a no hope underdog.

Every mega PPV needs two dance partners. That's common sense.

Floyd is involved in the 3 biggest fights ever.

He's involved in the only fights that have ever hit 2 million plus.

        He's the common denominator.

It's hardly calculus, but they still can't put two and two together.

this is his last fight and for Floyd to sell such a farewell he will definitely make it a concert appealing to casuals.

If that doesn't happen you'll know he'll go for the 50

At this point it doesnt really matter. Floyd is the face of boxing, has proven that he's the best of this era and would likely go down as the best ever. Haters gonna hate.

This fight is next month with no hype. 350 would be a blessing

what's Floyd's 1 million + PPV without another established PPV star or latino on a latin holiday with a built in fan base?

Tyson could get half a million buying his PPVs by fighting bums, he got 1.5 million fighting Peter McNeely? ...who? yeah that's right, who? Now that's a guy with real star power.

The real question is whether Berto's PPV star power will be tested.

Tyson-McNeely did big numbers because it was his first fight after being released from Prison.

Other than that Tyson's big numbers were when he had a dance partner (like all big PPV events)

Mike Tyson even in his biggest fights never reached 2 Million. Mayweather has surpassed 2 Million 3 times, twice as the A side.
