Except it is different to believing in the tooth fairy. This is what aggravates me with many atheists, the dishonesty and incorrect analogies. The tooth fairy is a tale told to children with the expectation that they should grow out of it. When people are taught their religious beliefs, there is no set point for when they are set straight.

Moreover, if he believed in the tooth fairy what could you say? His belief in the tooth fairy inspired him to have a successful career.

Too many worthless people are making critiques on the lives on the people that have gone out and accomplished.

Yes, great point, but I was also having a discussion with a Christian, about well, passed Gods and deitys, and discussion turned to Greek, shall we call it mythology. . . Simply put, he said "The Greek's made up their Gods, because they didn't understand the laws of nature" ie. referring to thunder and storms I'd assume. . . Surely, on a long enough timeline, at some point in the future, logic predicts that at some point the Gods people follow now, will be also eradicated and new beliefs will have formed. That to me is simply a large framed window of what we refer to as the tooth fairy tale.

Anyway, I'm not even questioning Manny's belief's in God. I've already stated that I respect and ofcourse I understand his belief in God will have seen him through to the final bell. I don't like to see that belief overtake his own accomplishments. . . where he is not giving himself the credit he deserves for how far he has come in life.

That is more of a compliment than a criticism if you read carefully enough between the lines.
