I agree with you! Those protected, baby-sitted and overrated manequins are getting gifts on constant basis while the true champions are have no protection and are treated as if they were ranked at 50th place.

I watched Allakhverdiev 2-3 years ago against M'Baye here in France, he looked very strong and powerfull, but I haven't seen of him since. He may have the style to beat him but I don't know if he could do it.

That is slightly different though, than if the fight is decent competition wise.

Alphabet titles in boxing are obviously jacked up, this is merely another example of that.

Show me the alphabet group that cares about their rankings.

Just looking at HW, the WBC has Anthony Joshua #2. LOL. I dig Joshua, he's a bad mfer & a future champion (imo), but if you think he's done enough to be considered #2 in the world you are ****ing nuts or corrupt. The WBA has Oquendo & Briggs in there top 5 ffs. The IBF has prospect Charles Martin #4 in the world. And the WBO has Joshua & Martin in their top 3 ffs. I don't think you could get me to argue the WBA isn't the low hanging fruit of the alphabet groups, but I mean the difference is minimal... the WBA rankings might be almost touching the ground, but the WBC, WBO & IBF rankings are below my ankles. Whoever does these rankings are corrupt or ******ed. Its not even debatable.

Yes but the WBA are the worst, they ranked a dead guy in their top 15 a couple of months ago (Ali Raymi). Most fighters see the WBC as the most prestigious.

it will suck for porter if he doesn't get a big fight next (biggest than his last one with broner). i mean, they guy he just beat gets a title shot immediately after?

No they dont. Fighters see a championship belt as a championship belt

The only fighters that do see it as the most prestigious are often the ones aided by or able to manipulate the WBC. Look at Wilder or Mayweather for examples

All 4 belts have equal standing
