    But why not just mAke the Jacobs fight in the fall? Jacobs last fight went less than 2 full rounds. He doesn't need a long vacation. It's a solid fight but not a huge fight that's worth building.
    It's a common boxing trick to put him against somebody inferior to make him log good before making a bigger fight,remember he didn't look stelar in his last fight.

                    Isn't this the type of opponent you'd expect Quillin to be facing If he was fighting 3 or 4 times a year?

                        Having said that, for Quillin, as a name guy in boxing its always gotta feel a lil embarrassing to you when you are still fighting guys with side gigs to pay the rent. Its like a handicapped fight, Quillin can focus on the fight 24/7, but this cat gots to go out for 2-4hrs a nite & waggle his dong at a bunch of Jenny Craig *****es after he trains.
