Khytrov's last 3 bouts have been trickier for him. Good learning experience.

Not good to see Khytrov would have been robbed if it went to the cards.

I believe him.....he just wasn't moving around the ring well, he wasn't doing anything...

Not taking anything away from Brinson the man can box, but he just put in way too much work and not only did he get gassed, all the body work caught up with him. That's why body work is king, blast to the body and mid fight those punches will start to hurt.

A rematch in a 10rd fight would be good. And would have been terrible to see Khytrov robbed, this was a draw or a slight nod in Khytrov's favour because he had his opponent on the verge of KO in the last two rounds of the fight. But I would not be mad if it was scored a draw.

He still needs work, he was missing a lot.

Might've had something to do with the longest break between fights since he turned pro. Didn't quite look himself, but it all worked out in the end. A fight between him and Derevianchenko about a year and a half or so down the road should be pretty good.

The scorecards were criminal. One judge had Nick winning all 7 rounds when he got destroyed in the 7th round. To think Brinson would've won that decision had the ref not stopped it is an absolute JOKE. Round 7 and around 8 were 10-8 rounds to Kyhtrov. And he also clearly won round 6. That's +5 pts right there in an 8 round fight. Such a farce.

just watched the fight, while khytrov certainly did more damage, the first couple of rounds were pretty close, but i still had khytrov ahead on points at the time of the stoppage.

The 70-62 scorecard for brinson from Tony Perez was really just criminal. There should be no discussion that khytrov won the last couple of rounds, but tony perez didnt give him a single round and correct me if im wrong, but he even gave brinson a 10-8 round otherwise it should be a 70-63 scorecard. lol
