I was really surprised at how Paulie stood right in front of Garcia, and absorbed a beating. Especially after the Porter beatdown. Truly think that Paulie looked at Garcia's chicken sparring, and concluded that he's not gonna "run" like Peterson did for the first half of that fight.

But it was exactly what Paulie needed to do! Not totally high tail it like Peter son did, but move laterally a little more. Paulie doesn't have the power to stand in front of garcia, he's a stick and move fighter. The fight would have been a lot more competitive, but Paulie came in with this mindset to not be that chicken Garcia was sparring with.

He took the bait, he fought Garcia's fight and got pummeled.

From inside the Barclay's center, it looked to me like Paulie was doing a decent job at making Garcia miss horribly at times. There were many moments DSG almost made Paulie look like Mayweather the way he was moving his head and bouncing out of the way of DSG's shots.

Too bad that unlike Mayweather, he wasn't really doing so in order to get anything off offensively. Plus, he took several damaging blows from Garcia throughout.

DSG was winning fairly decisively but didn't look good in the process.. looked like he had cement feet plus he was throwing these awkward rabbit shots and chopping punches.
