impressive wins are not how you get the call, survival is not how you get the call, being exposed or destroyed is how you get the call

Maybe for #48 but not Mayweather, apart from this last fight in Berto to get a Mayweather fight you have to have being impressive in your last fight.

styles make fights. khan's very fast. i even think he's slowed down a bit after some of the wars. he used to be one of the faster fighters in boxing.

i thought lucas beat alexander convincingly, but khan had an even easier time of it.

i think khan would have a better shot to at least win rounds against floyd than danny or lucas.

danny has trouble with guys who can move. lucas has trouble with accurate punchers and trap setters.

khan's problem is his chin. i think he'd be more competitive with floyd than danny and lucas, but his chin would eventually let him down and get him hurt and stopped. floyd's not a huge puncher, but he's so accurate and sharp that he'd hurt khan.


maidana did well against floyd in the first fight. i'd pick danny, lucas, to beat him. khan already beat him. styles make fights.

Matthysse coming off a loss > Guerrero/Ortiz at any point. Canelo looked poor vs Trout and he got the fight, Pac's "career was over" and he got the fight. Cotto beat an injured fighter and he got the fight. I mean, these fl0mos wanna act like dudes are coming off some kind of incredible wins before getting Floyd...guys that get Floyd are usually coming off hard fought wins, where they get knocked down (Ortiz), get bruised up and tagged at will (Guerrero), piss poor stamina (Canelo), a shell of himself (Cotto). So this idea that Matthysse couldn't and should not have gotten the fight is comical.

So your issue is Floyd fights guys that win tough fights yet didn't fight Matthysse after he lost to Danny.

I noticed you forgot the people you listed were champions, something Lucas has never been.
