So whats your point that he doesn't deserve it? Khan may talk waaaay too much. but he deserves it. he has more quality wins over top 10-15 contenders than Berto, more than Robert Guererro, Victor Ortiz and Maidana.

Khan has beaten Alexander, Collazo, Algierei, Maidana, Judah, Malignaggi and Kotelnick. All are or were at the time legitimate contenders. Hs loss to Peterson was controversial and somewhat tainted by Peerson's PED use. He was also outboxing Garcia for 3 1/2 rounds until the ko punch. His big mouth aside, anyone that doesn't think Amir Khan presents a tougher challenge to Mayweather, isn't being fair

I thought Collazo deserved the decision against Berto, so I'm not sure. This Berto is a lot worse than the Berto from a few years ago, Lopez was easily outboxing Berto before he was stopped, that probably wouldn't have happened a few years ago.

Hell I think even Algieri beats Berto at this point. Which shows how poorly I think of Berto, not how highly I think of Algieri

You are right, but Floyd is getting 30 mil no matter what. It's really Showtime's fault for agreeing to this fight. I am sure they have some say so as to avoid Floyd fighting a Rod Salka for a 30 mil payday. not saying Berto is Salka, but for a $75 ppv, Floyd fighting Berto isn't that much worse than Garcia getting paid to fight Salka on Showtime. Showtime should've gaiven Floyd a list - Khan, Thurman, Garcia, Brook, and Porter and said we're fine with a fight vs any of these 5 for your 30 mil guarantee

there will always be fanboys who defend everything and haters that criticize everything - who cares what they say. Most real boxing fans would've fine with fights vs any of the 5 I set forth above - Thurman, Khan, Garcia, Porter or Brook

see, no he shouldn't be able to do anything he wants. Althuogh I don't know the terms of the agreement, I can say with certainty that he cannot just fight "anyone" and Showtime would be required to pay him min $30 mil.

Did anyone say anything about Manny fighting no name Algieri?
Big difference. Manny's options were limited. He was planning on fighting Porvodnikov but he lost to Algieri. Haymon would not have agreed to allow any of his fighters to fight Manny, I think we know that. Manny already fought all other TR fighters, JMM, Bradley, Rios, there weren't a lot of options. Also, Algieri was an undefeated world champion. Algieri was app an 8-1 dog. Berto hasn't looked even decent in app 3 yrs; he's a 40-1 underdog.
And Oscar - he fought everyone! Oscar took on all comers, even moving up to 160 to fight BHOP!. And at the end of his career, he wanted an easy fight - vs Forbes, it wasn't on PPV!

yup. Wish mayweather would have picked brook for that same reason. A-mere-con would have commited suicide.

Khan needed to get knocked down a few times by Algieri. If that were the case he would be in Berto's spot right now.
Well that theory is wrong because maidana looked spectacular whooping broner a$$ and got the fight stop with that bs excuse don't look to good lol

The truth is neither Khan or Berto deserve such a big fight , Berto has proved he shouldn't be there and Khan hasn't proved anything.
Berto v Khan would have been more interesting.
With Floyd fighting one of the unbeaten guys ,Brook or Thurman .
