Lol obviously it's sarcasm. If he shouldn't fight Khan or Thurman because of their skills or resume than he should really stay away from Berto who is worse in every way.

I'd feel sorry for the second tier welters if one of em had the balls to have made a statement in the spring. They all decided to take very soft touches, so **** em.

I like berto in this fight! Not to win, but to try hard. He gives his all! Will it be enough? I don't think so, but anything can happen! In 1990 I lost on Tyson vs Douglas! I live in japan, and Tyson was my guy, you might even say I kinda worshipped him like pacboys wish they had manny's sweaty jockstrap under their pillow, "just to be close to you". Think Lionel Richie and the commodores!

Nuf said! I gotta head to the beach and wish it was 1990 again!

Jokes aside, I actually do agree with him lol.

Thurman should move on and focus on becoming relevent.

The same as Khan, and the same as Brook.

None of them have done anything noteworthy.

Not but seriously, make the fight when it makes sense once Spence is PROVEN and beating him MEANS something you know what I mean? If he beats Spence now, the excuses are set "he never fought anybody... he was unproven... big deal". Once he proves he is a star level fighter, his name makes sense.

Poor Floyd doesnt even realize how he makes a fool out of Spence, the guy is getting laughed at all around the boxing world. Broner #2 right here and after fighting Phil le Greco, a D class guy Thurman should give him a payday? Little kid should shut up and fight someone who isnt total trash first.

Anyone who thinks Mayweather actually wants Spence Jr. to fight Thurman doesn't get it.

It's simply a deflection, Floyd wanted and got an easy touch with Andre Berto, and there's simply no justifying it logically without damaging the fight's tagline (i.e. it'll be exciting doe!).

There's little risk that comes with Thurman isn't worth the little reward and extra effort. So you can slide it by dismissing Thurman, and you can put your future stable fighter Spence's name in print all over the place, two for one.
