That's not the point. As a fighter you work your whole life for that belt. Lucas has yet to achieve that so it's his primary motivation right now.

I just think it depends on postol's chin can he take a good shot from lucas how will he react? and yeah lucas can really go to work on postol's tall and skinny body.

It would be a real shame if Matthysse ended his career without a title. Matthysse has decisively beaten Soto, Provodnikov and Peterson, all former titlists but he could never win one.

Damn good fight. Postol hasn't got the experience of matthysee but he is a tricky guy with range and skills and a piston jab.

I think Lucas has the tools to get inside and end it after a tough first half of the fight.

As others have said damn shame if he doesnt get a belt.

Even though this is a vacant title its 110% legit if lucas wins it. this is a case of the man making the belt. which it is these days mostly anyway.

in the one postol fight I've seen, he boxed very well but briefly got buzzed with a left hook from a guy i cant remember but was not in matthysee's class for ****.

lucas has very solid skills, he knows how to place his power shots. this fight will be tricky but he should win.
