The losers of mismatches usually get hurt bad enough to quit and are forgotten as soon as they get dragged out of the ring. At least Paulie has commentating to fall back on, good luck to him. Haymon didn't invent the mismatch, but he acts like he's trying to corner the market. How many undefeated fighters does he have now? Can he keep finding sub par competition without getting somebody seriously hurt?

Paulie is tough and can take punishment but he's weak. And I'm not talking about punching power.

I just realized he fought another Salka in Maliggnaggi the other week. It was an absolute mismatch. Like most people who always root for the underdog, I kept fooling myself Malignaggi had to have a Heredia/Memo moment waiting to happen. Halfway into the fight, still nothing. I gave up hoping and just waited for the ref to stop the damage. It was useless hoping against hope.
You have to wonder why they keep making such glaring mismatches. They're so painful to watch.
One of these days this Haymon guy is going to get sued for allowing these mismatches to happen.
