You really think that would help? With his new PBC venture going strong, he's not letting any big fights happen on anything but his networks. He'd be ****** to let it happen. The same way HBO would be ****** to let Kovalev fight Stevenson on anything but HBO or GGG ever fight off HBO.

If not, it just makes things more polarized and there is no incentive to ever have the best fight the best, unless Haymon signs EVERY major fighter.

I think there is a group of us, including myself, that just want to see the fights we want regardless of how they are made.

If its HBO, SHO, PBC, PPV, espn, nbc, cbs I don't care, so long as we get them.

See that's the difference, most people don't care for Golden Boy, Top Rank, Main Event or Haymon/PBC. They start to care when one of these promoters gets in the way and prevents big fights from happening. You on the other end feel invested in defending one particular promoter for some reason even after it's been obvious he wouldn't allow these fights.

Well I'm part of that group as well but boxing is more splintered now then it's ever been. I'd be happy if Haymon had every single guy signed. At least we'd get the fights we want eventually.
But for people to say Kovalev should just accept and fight off HBO is nonsense. The guy has an exclusive deal which probably put millions in his pocket(and Duvas I'm sure), it's ridiculous to ask him to fight elsewhere.

It is what it is. GGG will never fight Quillen or Jacobs. Kovalev will never fight Stevenson or Bieterbev...at least we may get Quillen-Jacobs and Stevenson-Beterbiev someday...

No, I'm calling out the entity that is actually causing the fights not to happen-HBO. I am also still watching HBO while criticizing them for this. I am also watching fighters of all promoters.

The problem is posters that have decided to only watch one network and place blame where it doesn't belong.

Again what does MMA have to do with Haymon? Whether he fails or succeeds boxing is bigger then that fool. Boxing was here before him and will be going strong long after him.

Haymon can do things to make fights happen just like HBO. If HBO removes the ban, haymon should make every effort to do business with tr/gbp/main events. If the ban is lifted and he refuses to work with those promoters, well then he deserves to be called on it.
