  • Comments Thread For: Bradley-Rios: Arum is Determined To Make it a Reality

There is a lot of talk of a potential bout between Tim Bradley, the newly minted WBO welterweight titlist, and former beltholder Brandon Rios.

In theory it should be a relatively easy fight to make given that both are promoted by Top Rank. The only issue that might be holding that fight back is the HBO budget. Word in the industry is that after spending heavily in the first half of 2015, the network does not have much left to spend.

A welterweight who should be fighting better competition..... vs a guy who should be fighting at junior welter and isn't really that good.

Bob's new job, scraping the bottom of the barrel.....

Top Rank & HBO really at loggerheads.

Not sure how Arum can make HBO cough up the money, his only leverage appears to be Manny Pacquiao.

That said, Bradley-Rios is a decent fight, just not the one we want.

Bobby has a point. But I'd like to hear his take on Rios-Brook falling apart.

we just finished making them a ****-load of money on the Pacquiao fight. So we want to see some of that back
              Interesting argument.

Not sure what good it does him, though, unless Arum's got somewhere other than HBO to take his fights.

Odd argument. Surely they were all in it together? Bob thinks HBO owes him something for doing their job?

Get ready for some Gatti Ward type ****!

Bradley don't know any better but to mix it up. He could cruise to easy UD,,, but won't.

Should be PPV. But y'all are getting this for free (coach NATAS Robinson voice)
