Kinda feel sorry for Bradley, how many fights that he could make with non top rank fighters but no one even talk about him, just imagine him against Porter, Garcia, Maidana, Broner, Khan, thurman, spence, brook just to name a few at 147.

This is funny as hell! Bradley, go and fight unranked Jesse Vargas for a "non-vacant" title. Bradley, you beat that unranked Vargas fella, now go fight Brandon Rios for that title.
Hey Brandon, we know you haven't done Jack ***** in the welterweight division, other than beat a shot Alvarado and get a DQ win over Chaves in a fight that all three judges had you losing, but guess what buddy, you get a title shot!!! That's right! You get a title shot for simply being with Top Rank. LMAO!!!
And yet, we complain about Mayweather/Berto. Ah, gotta love the hypocricy that comes from the boxing fans. We condemn one "***** fight" and celebrate another "***** fight".

Mixing top level guys like Pac/Bradley, with mid-level lower-tier guys like Rios/Provo/Algieri..... just to keep the fight inhouse...... and then selling the fight like it is something that is relevant, or something that was anticipated.
I see Rios as a mid-level 140lb'er, who has been pushed up to welter..... and I see Bradley as a top-level fighter who cannot buy a decent opponent.
So, does Bradley have to dumb down his style again, so that Rios is not outclassed, and so that the fight can be classified as "entertaining"?
Fcuk that.
Bradley should be educating some of these pretenders who wont fight each other..... Brook/Thurman, even Porter.
Bradley got waay bigger balls than his asshat promoter, thats for sure.

But personally, I dont feel sorry for Bradley.
I am a Bradley fan, but he signed the contract with Top Rank knowing that they had no top welters, and knowing that Bob prefers everything in-house.
The same can be said for Pac.
Both those guys got what they wanted.

Lance Pugmire @latimespugmire
Told that @WorldBoxingOrg has ordered @Timbradleyjr to make a mandatory welterweight title defense against unbeaten Sadam Ali.

Pouring water on the mandatory distinction for Sadam Ali, @Timbradleyjr promoter @BobArum says he's close to finalizing Bradley-Brandon Rios

And @BobArum tells me Bradley-Rios is looking at a Dec. 12 date @theforum

Arum says he'll offer step-aside deal to Ali, and likes the idea of an Ali-Jessie Vargas fight on the same Dec. 12 card, winners fight next.Last edited by Mitchell Kane; 08-07-2015, 12:21 PM.

Not sure I see Ali/GBP going for a Vargas fight, but here's more from Pugmire:
"We'll work that out. Well work out a deal for Ali to step aside and make the Rios fight", Arum said.
Ali promoter Oscar De La Hoya said it's "too premature" to discuss the scenario now.
"I'm going to speak to Arum and Ali and see what they want to do," De La Hoya told The Times in a text message.Paco is following his rules. If you fight for a vacant title, youve got to fight the [No. 1 contender], Arum said.
Arum said he would explore with Alis promoter, Golden Boy Promotions, the possibility of making an Ali fight with Vargas on the same card, televised by HBO, while setting up a scenario where the winners fight each other in 2016.
Arum said of making Bradley-Ali now, "I cant sell that to HBO".
If Ali and Golden Boy declined to step aside, Arum said he still preferred making a Bradley-Rios bout without the belt on the line.
"Titles are meaningless", Arum said.Last edited by Mitchell Kane; 08-07-2015, 12:23 PM.
