Pacquiao was KO'd 2 times TKO'd once, yet nobody says he cannot take a punch. Lemieux gets stopped in the 7th round 4 years ago against a guy with over 50 kos, and has been given a glass chin title.

Golovkin is favorite no doubt, but this is a dangerous fight against a huge puncher. I can't characterise it as anything other than that.

Mayweather fans attacking Golovkin/Lemieux to justify Berto? Berto who was beat bad by JSK and Robert Guerrero? The same Berto who lost the battle of heart vs Victor Ortiz? Lemieux just beat down N'Dam & Rosado, Berto's never beaten a top 10 WW. Even Lopez was giving him the business before he got caught.

Who's the one that can take a punch?

          Well...it's a better fight, imbecile.

Lem is at the very least a title holder in his division, a concussive puncher and on an impressive up slope in his career.

Berto's last relevant win was half a decade earlier.

What does it matter who their previous opponents were?

Whats crazy is that, champions dont mean anything when floyd has faced more than anyone in history, but ggg is facing a world champion, now it means something...hypocrites. Floyd will still sell more ppv's than ggg. He turned down a fight with Ward to fight this guy. ggg said no to elite competition, to fight this guy?

Isn't the latest that it's actually Ward said no to the fight based on the catchweight stipulation?

I don't believe there have been any negotiations or offers tbh, just hot air from both sides.

Floyd hasn't faced more world champions than everybody. I'm not sure where you guys get that.

Exactly. Pacquiao was put into a coma by a 40 year old career FW who was more highly regarded as a counter punching boxer than a murderous puncher. A decent 3 win streak later and he's back at #2 p4p. Lemieux's team throw in the towel to protect their 22 year old prospect from further damage to a big puncher. Over 4 years and 9 straight wins and a world title later and you have Floyd stans attempting to make him out to be some glass chinned joke.
