I understand he pays the fighters good. He gets them reasonably easy opponents and helps them keep their "0" on the boxing record. BUT he doesn't seem to make me as a fan happy. Every time I hear a fight promoted by Haymon or managed by Haymon, I almost cringe every time now. I understand a lot of people may not like Golden Boy Promotions or Top Rank for whatever other reasons but they have waaaaaay better match ups. Even when Bob Arum went to China, he found some decent boxers to make exciting fights.

I think Haymon is cherry picking his fighters for more money in the future but at only our expense.

No thanks Haymon. I don't watch your fights until its something I like and I watch a lot of boxing.

Like I said he is great for the "FIGHTERS" if the fighters are choosing him what can we do really? What can anybody do if the fighters keep running to Al Haymon? Not Watch? OK but you not watching really won't make any impact what so ever because It is Millions and Millions of Casuals who don't know who Haymon is who don't know what is a mismatch or not or any of that extra stuff that people spend hours talking about on this forum. They strictly tune in to see a fight and that is why PBC regardless of the Internet Critics won't suffer because they know that the world is bigger than just Boxing Scene NSB Forum. Yes being a hardcore boxing fan for many years and knowing most of these fighters already, I want the best match ups and would love to see better match making, but the fighters have to WANT to fight each other as well. It is a lot of fighters hiding behind Haymon Money and Power and that is who I would rather be calling out. Quillin, Wilder guys like that with their TBA and taking Soft Balls for as long as they can. Fans put so much pressure on Leo Santa Cruz that even he had to finally step up and face Mares so putting pressure on the fighters works.

al gaymon is a cancer to boxing.the worst thing that could happen to the sport has killed a lot of good fights.gaymon refuses to work with other promoters like TOP RANK golden boy and jay z to make the best possible fights.pbc is just a bunch of mismatches.

Didn't they just make Mayweather vs Pacquiao a few months ago then he turns around and sue yeah because Arum is innocent in all of this right. Just a Flawless Reputation.

I would have never matched them up. Paulie is old already and he's not really a true 147 pound fighter. He's not a big puncher. Danny has had a lot of negative feed back lately because of his previous fights and he fights Paulie?? Really??
Paulie even went out of his way to thank Al Haymon for the pay day. After that interview I saw it for what it was. A payday for a boxer and not giving a **** about us fans. Al Haymon refuses to entertain us.

He needs to change things up immediately because a lot of us fans are getting disappointed with his match ups.

Then DON'T WATCH. That's the beauty of the marketplace. You can choose what products you want.

Watch Top Rank, HBO, GB whatever, ignore the PBC that's your choice. If PBC fails, that means it was a bad product for the market. If it succeeds it was good for boxing.

He is good for the fighters right up to the point his investment money runs out. At that point, the fighters will be having to settle for empty purses because there will be no money to pay them. Let's see how happy the fighters are then.
