man it would be hilarious if Canelo said "enough with this female" and took another fight instead.

Im sure theres WAY too much money at stake, AND he gets to push Cotto's **** in as a bonus, so its wishful thinking that he would walk away.......

        STFU Oscar!
Is it Goldenboy that wants the rematch clause. But same people *****ing about Cotto fighting GGG next, are cool with it. All of a sudden its Cotto's fault again. Delahoya already stated Cotto wants the fight so why all the backlash.

So in order for the fight to be made, nobody can talk about the fight, and Oscar can't answer about the status of the fight when the media asks him? If cotto wants to walk away from the fight,go ahead. His little diva act grew old a long time ago. Just don't expect to be taking that wbc belt with you.

Its actually pretty funny that people call Cotto a diva for exercising the advantages he feels he earned for what he achieved through out his career. Yet, Canelo tries to dictate terms, and response time, throws chairs when he doesnt get his way, writes letters to the media, walks away from the table in the middle of negotiations, and now as the challenger, with no title he is requesting a rematch clause based on whether or not the fight is close, But yeah Cotto and Gaby is the problem.... On another note it seems to me that De La Hoya and Arum are the only two promoters who negotiate big money fights through the media which in turn causes a strain on negotiations. If you cant see this then start a regimen of brain teasers and puzzles to raise your IQ.

He said that in reference to De La Hoyas demands.

"The mere fact that Oscar went to the press and said what he said, I think it's the best evidence that his side feels cornered. He saw that through private negotiations that he was not getting what he wanted to get."

Cotto trying his stall tactics as usual to try and kill the fight. Difference is HBO has checked this fool and made it clear the only fight they are interested in is Canelo/Cotto.
Can't wait to see Canelo KO this diva.

Oscar knows he wants & needs this fight more for Canelo's trajectory then Cotto needs this fight. He needs to quit playing around & just agree to whatever needs to be agreed to & make this fight. At this point think Oscar has been talking about Cotto vs Canelo since at at least 2013 cuz he knows thats a great scalp to have for Canelo.

We all know Cotto will walk if he don't like whats being offered. Oscar needs to quit trying to use leverage he doesn't have. Agree with them, sign the deal, have a nice PPV that'll be well received by the boxing community & Canelo moves forward with the biggest W on his resume.
