In an earlier article on BoxingScene.com, Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, who promotes Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, told our very own Steve Kim that a single hurdle remains with respect to finalizing a deal to fight WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

De La Hoya said the two sides are at odds over some minor details pertaining to the rematch clause, and they are waiting for an answer from Cotto's legal adviser Gaby Penagaricao.

I was going to post in the other thread that Oscar really needs to shut the *** up and stop going public about negotiations before he ruins everything. Just leave it alone why must he run to the boxing media. I know he can't wait to announce the fight but it was the same thing last time, he kept running to the media I guess that is his way of trying to rush Cotto to sign?

The media is asking Oscar questions because this is a fight that should of been signed a long time ago. Ggg and lemieux gets done in one week. It's now about a year straight negotiating with these punks in the cotto camp. One excuse after another from Cotto. Now starting think he will back out again the coward
