Freddie is a great trainer but I dislike the environment at the Wild Card. There are so many better gyms in Cali. I'm sure if you're Pacquaio it's different but for everyone else you don't really feel as welcomed or prioritized. Even Khan & Provodnikov said they basically got assigned to random trainers and Freddie is Pacquaio's guy.

that bentt fight was a damn shame. had bentt hurt and walked into a shot while he was trying to put the finishing touches on. I remember being crushed as a fan as I wanted to see him against lewis but bad for tommy that it happened later on when steward turned lewis into a machineComment

Personally I would have loved to have seen Tyson Vs Morrison in their prime. That would have been a brawl, with both trying to rip their heads off... Best thing would have been the fact both never liked taking a step back, nothing but hooks and uppercuts.Comment

Tommy was hurt, extremely dazed. I'm not so sure he would have got out of the first, most likely would have been dropped again and then fight would have been stopped by the ref. Morrisons main issue was his heart, he should have been patient after the first knock down but as you said want to put on a show... Which was a mistake.

I'm sure watching it live was much different than the perspective you get from the television... But that goes both ways. To me, after the second knock down he didn't have his legs underneath him and seems a little confused in the eyes. But I was only 12 years old when that fight occurred, my father was a big Morrison/Tyson fan, so I was quite young when I say that fight but watching it again... It's hard to say Morrison could have continued.Comment

well,,,,I think tommy was hurt badly and the stoppage was a good one ( 3 kd rule or not) but it was an obvious fluke loss imo much like lennox against mcall. tommy just didnt show any respect at all and hurt him so easily during those early exchanges but forgot the golden rule that a hurt fighter is at his most dangerous when hurt. he would have won a rematch easily imo but it never happened. such a tragedy that morrisons career was over at 27yrs old when many fighters dont reach there peak till there 30's as of late. he had the speed and power to be at the top but just never got those intagibles down before damn aids got him. would have been interesting to see how hed have done in his later career when the best fighters started decliningComment
