Tommy would have put 99.99999999% of the people in the world to sleep.
Aside from the Bentt fluke, he only lost to two elite gold medal world champs.
Tommy did well in a tough division. Respect.Comment

I couldn't think of a better trainer for an offensive minded heavy headed boxer. Best of luck Trey! May the Morrison name fight onComment

Get him out of Okla. City and give him live bodies to fight who are on the same level. Theres no need to pad the record with OKC bums, that is the land of trail horses and bums. Get him in Calif. and get him in top condition and evaluate him over a 5 bout 20 month time frame.

Sadly the Bentt fight is hard to over look! Morrison was one hell of a puncher but often focused to much of his game on the left hook, not trying or using any of his other great quality and that was seen against Lewis.
People also seem to forget it was the 90's, one of the toughest heavyweight eras and Morrison competed with some of the best of that era!Comment

From all the looking I have done, I don't think Trey even has a amateur record... So let's throw him to the dogs right? Damn you know nothing about building a fighter!Get him out of Okla. This is exactly what they should do till he hits atleast 10 opponents and then have him fight against some journeymen.Comment

that bentt fight was a damn shame. had bentt hurt and walked into a shot while he was trying to put the finishing touches on. I remember being crushed as a fan as I wanted to see him against lewis but bad for tommy that it happened later on when steward turned lewis into a machineSadly the Bentt fight is hard to over look! I think getting trained by Roach and the other trainers at Wild Card, and getting the kind of sparring available there should help his development.I expect to get great sparring at the Wild Card Gym and receive constant feedback from the training staff
He looks like he has some tools to work with, but it's hard to learn much from his early fights...he hasn't met much resistance yet fighting on the Oklahoma circuit.
It'll be interesting to see how he does going forward.
But man, he really does he really does remind you a bit of his dad in the ring, especially when you see him fighting in those black "Tommy" trunks.

He doesn't have quite the physique that his father had, although that's not surprising (as Morrison did admit to taking steroids during his career).Last edited by Mitchell Kane; 08-06-2015, 02:33 AM.Comment
