Im ok with Berto as the opponent, only because Thurman, Brook, dont deserve it, how long have they had to make a case? A case can be made for Porter but only if you hold Broner in regard, which i dont but its a better win than what anybody else has atm. Khan? He11 fkn NO! Bcuz hes had plenty of oppurtunities to make his case but he instead turned em down to fight lesser comp. I better not hear any Khantrrds ****tin on Berto as the choice. Bcuz of the very same criteria theyve been using to hype Khan, Berto is the better option. And that criteria isnt based on their current standing but rather what theyvr done years ago. Only Berto has accomplished more than Khan at 147. Im glad its not Khan.

With Berto, you know what the result will be. He has NO CHANCE of winning.

With Kahn and Thurman, there's a slight chance the fight could become semi-interesting.

Berto is just a sparring partner for Floyd, a garden variety opponent that doesn't bring anything fresh to the table.

Berto can take a beating. It's going to the cards.

No. Berto is too unpolished and too inexperienced there is no slight indication that berto is going to pose any trouble in this fight. Pretty safe fight to end showtime deal.

At this point Berto < to any candidate that fans want, heck even kell makes sense than berto lol. Berto is the furthest man you can think of that floyd should fight. Why is this fight even happening? we don't know. Is there some kind of exploitation going on or they plan to? We don't know for sure. But heck, since it's berto he probably been sent there to just lie down, take some potshots, take some cash to ensure floyd get past undefeated and call it a day.

I won't support this kind of fight and I hope many will as well; simply because I don't want to see future fights like this. We let this pass and another kind of fight like this looms more in the future, so I'm crossing my fingers that this pathetic attempt to exploit fans again, flops so hard that any discussion of this kind of mismatch in the future will not even cross in their mind again.

If you can't give fans your best, just retire man. This is no place for exploitation. No one has earned to exploit the fans.

It would honestly be in contention for one of the biggest upsets of any sport in history, especially if it is a convincing victory. I'm not sure how I'd react because I still can't see any way in which Berto wins.

Go for the headbutt like Ortiz.

Just remember to keep your hands up after the hug.

I think that is exactly how a Thurman fight would play out.

You could be right about Khan, his speed/style could offer a new look.

But Mayweather has sparred/fought dozens of Thurmans.

And yea, not interested in a Berto fight.
