Yeah - Let's look at it. Who's got a better resume of AJ and Hughie Fury? Is Rudenko not a better opponent than anyone Joshua has faced? Yes. So why is Joshua ranked in the top 15 and Fury at something like #60. Is that fair or hard on Hughie?
I meant Olympic medalists are "afforded opportunities" even if they don't deserve it i.e title shots or big fights and NOT rankings.

Still wondering about your comprehension issues?

Rankings game again huh? I don't care about that and frankly no body does. In hindsight when people discuss old fighters they don't talk about "rankings" first of all or which belt was more prestigious or at which weight, but NAMES beaten. Resumes.

Wouldn't Mayweather be ranked above John Ruiz? I mean Ruiz did win the HW title which is most prestigious prize in boxing?

Yeah, well he was ready for a title shot. They could've steered him towards WBC route during Ortiz/Berto period etc etc. Point is Brook was ready for a shot a long long time ago, mandatory or not.

Can you please stop hiding behind rankings? I don't care alphabet or some nerd that works for your favorite magazine. Talk about NAMES.

Brook is ranked higher than Pacquiao by Ring, so what is that saying?

Oh and it would be: You're*

        Now go work on that.

Sure, but Brook should also beef up that resume.

Khan and Hearn had a meeting, so it is very likely.

I hope so,I'd really like this fight right about now..I don't think Brook needs to beef up his resume to fight Khan at 147lb tbh..Not to mention if Khan can beat Brook he will be in line for that always elusive May fight he's been chasing..Not to mention he wins a belt at 147lb..

But Brook is ranked higher than Con because he's world champion or do you not rate world champions .......so it is very likely....thanks for that ...

Brook doesnt need to do anything. He's a champion. What has Khan done at WW? Fighting The Collazo's and Algieri's of the world, still living off past accomplishments.

They should have fought in June and the winner should have been Mayweather's opponent in September.

Angel said last time the reason they won't fight Khan is because they would've never been given a rematch themselves had they lost. I actually agree with him there, I think Angel genuinely dislikes Khan so wouldn't want to give him a chance to win. Garcia would still KHTFO if they fought though the style is all wrong for AK.
