Yes. What if you just eliminate the junior divisions? Think about how much more stacked each division would be.

Cruiserweight started at 190 as a weightclass for guys who could not quite comfortably get down to 175 but didn't want to fight rock hard guys of 220 pounds or more. It made some sense. When the limit went up to 200 pounds and weigh ins were moved back to the day before the fight it no longer made sense. Guys made the 200 pound limit and came into the ring weighing more than 220 pounds. They were big, full sized heavyweights.Comment

Yeah, I think it'd be better if we had this divisional breakdown. Except I'd change CW to ~190.
Edit: I don't mind a lighter division like minimum weight added to the list.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 08-04-2015, 12:19 AM.Comment

I like that list I'd keep jww though, and maybe increase the max limits such as;
Jww 144
Ww 152
Mw 162Comment

I am OK with some of the newer weight classes were there is at least 5 or more pounds difference from the next class. 130 and 140 have been around forever going back to the 1920s. 168 and 154 seem OK too. At the lower weights you have 105 then 108 then 112 then 115 then 118 and then 122. That is way more than needed. 105 then 112 then 118 and then 126 should be enough and they could probably drop 130 as well.Comment
